

Reading, which is in the Royal County of Berkshire, is situated approximately 41 miles (66 km) west of central London on the M4 corridor within easy access of both the M40 and M3 motorways. It is also just over 25 minutes by car to Heathrow Airport and it is served by the Great Western Main Line railway. Crossrail is due to open in 2022 and it will serve Reading as well as Twyford. The town is positioned on the river Thames which provides many leisure activites and scenic walks.
